Oh baby. I love the start of fencing season. What a blast today was and we go again tomorrow. The familiar faces who give big hugs after a long winter, the new young ones that have been training all winter come out to authorize, the fun of being outside in the sun again. Yeah, that's fun. My allergies were kicking my butt something awful, but it was still fun, fun, fun. Lots of melee fighting, smiles all around and scaring a whole new generation of new fencers who don't know me yet. I felt really comfortable, free and relaxed. A little bit of running around like a nut will do that for ya.
